New “Open Archive” Function on ichLinks

International Information and Networking Centre for Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Asia-Pacific Region under the auspices of UNESCO or ICHCAP has recently introduced a new function on its information-sharing platform, ichLinks (www.ichlinks.com), called “Open Archive” and its promotional event.

“ichLinks” is a one-stop online platform where you can easily meet a wide range of intangible cultural heritage (ICH) information and content shared by and with Asia-Pacific Member States.

Compared to the current “ichLinks Archive” menu that only ICHCAP and Partner Organizations could upload their data into, “Open Archive” is open to anyone who wants to upload their ICH related data.

The member registration is very simple. It can use the existing SNS account, and people can share their photos, videos, or audio about ICH freely.

To promote this new service, ICHCAP is running a contest from 25 October to 25 November 2021.
