Cultural Management Clinic
San Carlos Heritage Clinic :“Comprehensive Cultural Mapping Towards a Democratic Management of Change”
SEACHA is organizing a Cultural Heritage Management Clinic program in San Carlos, the Philippines during 27 – 29 May 2023!
The heritage clinic is organized by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts National Committee on Monuments and Sites, Heritage Conservation Society, Southeast Asian Cultural Heritage Alliance, Youth for Pangasinan Heritage, LGU San Carlos City, Pangasinan, Virgen Milagrosa University Foundation, and LGU Pangasinan through its Provincial Tourism & Cultural Affairs Office (Pangasinan Tourism) as part of National Heritage Month.

The “SEACHA Capacity Building in Heritage Management Clinic” is an executive training program on heritage management that aims to build each city’s competitive advantage through community-based action and inclusive heritage law. It is targeted at government officials, NGOs, academia, and stakeholders of cities in ASEAN countries on Municipal, Regional, and National levels.
The training will provide the participants with an understanding of the general issues related to managing and regulating conservation and development, especially in the following topics: Holistic Conservation and Development Law & Policy, Economics of Heritage & Heritage Tourism, Community Based Heritage City Branding & Place Attachment.
